Every $1 will provide an additional 10 Emergency Food Bags! ACCFB needs $5,000 to purchase grocery bags for our Emergency Food Bag project. We have quickly ramped up production of Emergency Food Bags that contain shelf-stable items such as pasta and sauce, canned proteins such as peanut butter and tuna, whole grains, canned fruits and vegetables, and assorted food drive items. These bags enable us to quickly distribute a high level of nutrition in ways that allow for social distancing. We are currently producing 2,000 to 3,000 Emergency Food Bags daily. We are working closely with school districts across the county to provide Emergency Food Bags and fresh produce at school meal distribution sites. We are now distributing 5,100 Emergency Food Bags weekly to seven school districts (Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Castro Valley, Oakland, Pleasanton, and San Lorenzo). Emergency Food Bags are also being distributed at non-school sites. Lift Up is a Non Profit Organization that believes every donation makes a difference, which is why we make sure 100% of your donation goes to those we Lift Up in Oakland. We make it easy for you to change the world, whether it be social causes, being able to donate clean water, or providing emergency food bags in Oakland, we believe every project matters as we strive to bring the tangible needs that are close to your heart to light.

We have an unwavering belief that food is a basic human right.
